Returns true if the given texture metadata is supported by the device.

bool IsSupportedTexture( _In_ ID3D11Device* pDevice,
    _In_ const TexMetadata& metadata );


This function performs a number of bounds tests based on the device's feature level and the maximums defined for Direct3D. It also performs some specific API-level checks for format support for the given device.
